Updates

Update: 14th January 2016

Will post a proper update tomorrow when I have more energy, its been a busy week at work and for now I am drained. Thankfully its the weekend.

Until then, you more or less all know what happened today:

1.) Asian equities mixed with Japan crashing and China doing well.

2.) European Equities crashing (despite German GDP being better than expected?).

3.) US equities doing ok.

4.) Oil all over the place.

5.) JPY and CHF all over the place.

6.) The BOE as ambiguous as ever. If 1.4350 holds this week, the cable could turn bullish next week.

7.) ECB indicate some members wanted to do more.

8.) US data was soft but not bad.

Risk appetite was very low today (but silver and gold down (wtf?)).

Hope you all had a decent day,

Mohammed

  1. Hi Mo.
You shouldnt allow another job to drain your energy! You are more than good enough to run your own buisness and fully concentrate oon what you love (my assumption), trading 😀

Take a good rest now 🙂

  2. Thanks again for the update, please take care and have a rest. We love hearing your updates but think of yourself too.

  3. Hey! Been refreshing your blog all day hoping for a new post. I really enjoy reading your stuff — but make sure you spend your energy where it’s due! Recover, and I’ll be looking forward to hear from you again.

On another note, I’m copying you on Etoro. What are the benefits in going over to following you on HF? I’ve been hassling my Etoro account manager to give me 40 % bonus on all my deposits, so I’m kind of hesitant to withdraw from there until I’m cash positive again.

    All the best from Norway,

    Magnus

  4. Hi,

Thanks again for your update. Highly appreciated.
I’m must say I’m really impressed by your commitment.

As always I’m looking forward to your next post.
In the meantime take care and get some well-deserved rest.

    Kind regards,
    Ole

  5. Hello , thanks for the update !
I have one question , as you know there are many people who open positions after your positions goes in red .What do you think for that kind of behavior ?
For example if i have free funds will it be smart to open long position now on gbp/jpy for example ?
Thanks in advance for the answer , have a good night !

  6. Thank you for the update, as always! 🙂

If you have the time, I would very much appreciate if you could briefly explain your plans for HotForex vs eToro?

I have just recently opened a HF account and I likely will end up investing in yourself, but I am just curious what if any differences there will be, either strategic or otherwise, and whether there are inherent advantages in using HF as a platform for social trading.

My apologies if this information is already here somewhere, I did look through the last few pages of your blog as well as searching the forum for “HotForex” but couldn’t find anything.

Anyway, wishing you a good weekend as well!

    1. eToro I am leaving for good once my trades are closed, either at their targets or SL’s. Reasons being:
      1.) Unreliable software.
2.) A community that is very unreasonable and dishonest.
3.) I do not like the direction that the network is going in.

HF is more reliable, has more instruments and better spreads and far less hidden fees in my opinion.

  7. hello Mo. I find brilliant you stop interacting etoro. all communications are now on your blog, there are no more troublemakers !!!

    1. Well you don’t know how many spam comments he receives because he needs to unlock all comments before they become public…
But at least it looks a lot better 🙂
